Dogs have been always part of my life. When I was child, we had Newfoundlands, Pugs and – as I wished – a Norwich Terrier. Later when I moved on my own, i got a Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. And with that dog started bot my show hobby and active club work. When I was at shows with my Wheaten, my eyes caught still Norwich Terriers and eventually I got one. I have bred Norwich Terriers since 2020 under prefix Vanntage. Association activities hyave always interested me. I was member of the board of the Finnish Kerry Blue Terrier and Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club for a long time and for a while its Vice Chairman. At the moment I am Vice Chairman of the Finnish Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club and I am its delegate at the Finnish Kennel Club Council. I am in charge of organizing club shows of these both clubs. I am also administrator ot website of the Norwich Terrier Club of UK. This year I was chosen to act as the chairman of the Finnish Dog Show Judges Association. Besides dog hobbies I am keen on sports and exercise. When I was younger I was a member
of the Finnish team in Japanese swordplay (Kendo) and nowadays I am interested in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in which I compete sometimes on national and European level. Once or twice a week I do also CrossFit.
